|CANDLELIGHTERS FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER
Candlelighters is a non-profit organization, providing support to over a thousand families affected by childhood cancer in Oregon and SW Washington. Recognizing various needs of individuals and families, we offer our support and services, without regard to economics, race, religion, choice of physician(s) or health care facilities.
UPCOMING FAMILIY ACTIVITIES:
Thank you to everyone who donated their unwanted clothing for our Clothes Out Cancer textile drive!. We collected 8,150 lbs of clothing - more than 4 tons! All those unwanted clothes raised more than $5,350 for Candlelighters and will help support programs like our Emergency Financial Assistance Program for families experiencing financial difficulties while their child is in treatment. To all who donated and helped move clothing - thank you.

"Dear Candlelighters – I would personally like to thank you for the joy you have brought to our family. What a blessing it has been to have Candlelighters in our lives. Whenever we get to attend an event that Candlelighters is associated with, we are amazed at how well everything is put together. We can sense the heart of the program and have felt the love all of you put into making the families and children smile. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. You really have made a difference in our lives."
